There was this great photo gallery in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel a few days ago of the crew of the Mackinaw placing a NOAA Weather Buoy in Lake Michigan. Enjoy.

Interesting that while both are similar they still have many subtle differences.
Also unique that they use yellow lights.
