This is indeed good news -- I would hope that the city will follow through......

Kimberly Park Point is the only Great Lakes area light that I know of with 2 restrooms in it's base -- It is definitly a one-of-a-kind lighthouse in that regard... :!:

Of the other lights mentioned in the article -- Lakeside Park (Fond Du Lac), Rockwell (Bray's Point), and Aslyum Bay --- They are well kept lights as well, with a restoration at Asylum Bay a few years ago, and the construction of a bridge over to the little Island where the light sits...

I would take issue with 2 points in the article, however......
1) I have read that Asylum Bay was never lit, and never used as an AToN.....
2) The article failed to mention two other lights on the SE side of Lake Winnebago, Coulumbia Park (Calumet Bay) and Fisherman's Rd. Light........
