Well all I am going to either Wind Point again or find Kevich since I heard the weather is supposed to be in the 30s and sunny. About time!!!! Should we have a vote here which one?

I would see Kevich and then drive the 5 miles to Port Washington to see the 2 lights there. The Art Deco Pier Light is my favorite pier light. You can get 3 that you have never seen then.

The Port Washington Breakwater was constructed in a Art Deco Period style. You will not see too many breakwater or pirhead lights that look like that.

LOL Funny you mentioned the Art Deco Lighthouse, they show it on the local news all the time. I didn't know which one you were talkin about until i researched it, found pics, and was like lol that's the one I see on the news during the weather forecasts. It might be a bit hard to get to if that pier is icy though.

Ok ok I said I was game for the Port Washington lighthouses then found myself going back to Wind Point and I have to say I got AWESSSSSOMMEEEEE pictures today. Here are a few for you all to enjoy!! Muchhhhh much better than the original ones I took. I even walked on the beach behind it, sat on this tree stump there and I have to say I felt right at home there. Yes Kathy I will eventually make it up to Port Washington. I may have to wait until the weekend but I definitely plan to go up there. I think I read there was one in Fond du Lac too that I would love to check out soon too.

I have a couple more with the snow in them but yep that one was one of my faves taken. Too bad I didn't have my zoom lens camera with me, maybe next week or when the weather is warmer.

Pop Quiz ...

Trying to tie the theme of the thread with the more recent posts,
anyone remember seeing this faux light?

OMG LOL I saw one of those behind someone's house right by Wind Point. How the heck did you get lucky enough to get that picture? I saw some houses right on the water too when I drove up the street aways and boy did I want a picture of those but looks like the only way I will be able to get them is when the beach is no longer snow covered. There is a dream come true living right on a beach. :)

Yup ... Leaving Wind Point it was set back in a yard
off to the right. As I wouldn't trespass unless it were
the last resort, I thinking it was a clear shot from the
road ...

I got a picture of it too but it looks like a thick toothpick. I will see if I can adjust it then post it here. LOL. If you do the virtual tour on www.windpoint-lighthouse.com then you can see that's not the only yard with the lighthouse figurine in their backyard. There is about 2 or 3 houses that have those figurines in their backyards.

Terrible movie with Cher ...

Better movie with Darryl Hannah ...

Great movie with "Ariel"

Of course the Cher one was symbolic ... and she did
sing the "shoop shoop" song ...
