I received this photo of a tower on Curacao, a carribean island off the coast of Venezuela, part of the Dutch Antilles, that are part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Regarding the length of the grass around the tower, the structure is not very tall. It looks like a tower built to burn an open fire in it. Does anyone know it?

It sure looks like a fire generated light Frans and that pirates treasure casket was probably to keep the wood dry.

It might be a tower that a village or a group of fishermen put up as their own aid to navigation. Very interesting.

It doesn't look but about six feet tall?

Pretty Cool!

Russ Rowlett doesn't have it on his Curaçao page.

But who knows? It seems like one of those things that you would have to ask the locals.
