From EDP 24

The lighthouse is funded entirely through donations after the trust took it over in 1990 rather than allow it to be decommissioned, making it the only independently-run lighthouse in the country

Freshman year on the dorm floor, a long long time ago ... one of the guys across the way came down the hall, laundry basket in hand, muttering and cursing ... seems he didnt know (nor would have I) that you dont wash a red T Shirts with white underwear ...

Barry, don't feel too embarrassed. It happens to almost everyone. Sometimes accidentally. Those darn red things hide within the whites, just ready to be washed with husband's (and my) undies. 8O

Oh well...at least no one else saw them.
