Stolen: A lighthouse
As a crime, it must rank as one of the most extraordinary, especially in maritime matters. On the shores of the North Euboean Gulf in eastern Greece, the small lighthouse at Asproneri had been lit since its construction by a French company in the early 20th century. Greece has one of the largest networks of lighthouses in the world; nevertheless, this one is sorely missed
