2005 Harbour Lights In-Store Signings & Event Piece

A forum to discuss collecting/trading Harbour Light lighthouse replicas.

The calendar for the year has been posted today on the Harbour Lights site:
http://www.harbourlights.com/events/2005/index.htm

There's also a photo of this year's In Store Event Exclusive, Fourteen Foot Bank, Delaware.

I'm noticing a few stores not on this list ...the first time, including the chain in Virginia, Ingles Nook.

Looks like I'll just have to try for the Sept 25th event that fits in beautifully with the Avery Point relighting weekend. Thanks for posting the link Judy.

some places seem to have cut down the number of events too. Lighthouse Depot, if I remember correctly, always had a fall event signing, and I don't see it at a quick glance. Unless they moved it to spring as noted in lieu of fall.

I know of at least two stores in North Carolina which recently dropped the HL line plus one that cut back to selling only the "LLOM's."

I'll post the names in 7-10 days. I don't know if two of these stores have gone pubic with this information, yet.

Well, I'm guessing that one is not The Lighthouse Gallery in Nags Head, because they have their scheduled date for the In-Store signing.

They are not on the coast. They are on the western side of the state.

even stores that carry HL have cut back on their inventory. The Noah Collectible chain, mostly in malls, has very little stock compared to what it had previously (and that wasn't a lot). It's getting harder to find the limited editions in "mass market" stores.

I wonder if mail-order stores like LH Depot are experiencing the same problems moving HL items?

they had the new models so far this year when I was there recently. The help has changed considerably and teens are working in the store. They are not knowledgeable about the Harbor Lights collection which will not help sales.
