Here are the latest offerings from Harbour Lights

Just got the latest Lighthouse Depot catalog and found some new HL products:

Guardian Shores 20-Piece Dinnerware Set
http://www.lighthousedepot.com/Order.cf ... item=30823

Guardian Shores 20-Piece Flatware Set
http://www.lighthousedepot.com/order.cf ... item=30824

Another new item in the new Lighthouse Depot catalog.
A bit pricey at $250, but it looks nice.

Fourth Order Fresnel Lens Lamp

My first reaction is: "I thought something like this would happen".

I'm afraid things like dinnerware & flatware will cheapen the Harbour Lights name.

Larry, I hate to burst your bubble, but the dinnerware was Bill and Nancy's ideas. The products have been in the planning stage for a few years according to Bill. Nothing you see this year will be from the new owners, and very few of next years products will be either.

Is this the same dish set that I have been seeing in Lighthouse Digest?

It'll be interesting to see if these items sell well. I have
a tendency to feel the same way that Larry does, about
these items.

Id have to lean towards that same assumption. Harbor Lights has long been THE name in lighthouse replicas. I can see thier expansion ideas for more sales etc but please dont dilute the name to where it becomes generic and meaningless.

SteveJohn wrote:New for 2008 is the Harbour Lights nautical themed bathroom shower curtain and matching accessories. The bathroom collection features the artwork of artist Donna Elias who brilliantly captures the splendor and rich history of the navigation device of days -gone- by.

People from around the world travel to be inspired by the lighthouse in Keywest, Florida and the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina. Now you can bring the symbol of an era that is still with us today and create a warm seaside nautical theme to your guest bath or master bathroom.

Is this a covert attempt to spam the forum?

Hi Ross:

You may want to watch that guy. All of his messages are pretty similar to the one you deleted, but he doesn't actually advertise anything in particular. I can't figure out whether he is a spammer or someone just trying to be helpful?
