Last Light of Sandy Hook's 10th Tour Season

Well folks, the end of the 2006 tour season at Sandy Hook has come and gone. Last night after the other NJLHS volunteers had gone home it was just me, the light and my camera. Here's what we came up with for the final night of the 10th tour season.

There were tons of red ribbons all over the displays plus a nice large tree in one of the rooms. It was quite a festive atmosphere in the Keeper's Quarters this weekend. Plus, we had hot apple cider and cookies for visitors as well!

I actually had the light and keeper's quarters all to myself Sunday night. That volunteer perk of staying over night comes in handy sometimes.

Thanks for bringing this one back up Eric. I'll be at Sandy Hook yet again this weekend. Nothing like having a night at the lighthouse.
