The "nodding hmm's" come in the beginning ... the "wow's" come at the finish ... Gary, that last one is a "wow" ... I think that interrupted reflection is just spectacular ... Thanks for sharing these ...

Gary finally made it to Maine. 'Bout time!

Nice stuff Gary, I too like the latter set with the fiery orange sky. You didn't have much to work with earlier.

Absolutely gorgeous. The sunrise shots are spectacular, but I also like the Tuesday predawn shot with the light reflected in the tidal pool. Thanks for posting these!

Nice to see you get to Maine!

I was just at Nubble yesterday, but during the day passing through, so the skies and light weren't very good.

Thanks for the comments.

As for the

Gary finally made it to Maine. 'Bout time!

from Hersh, where have you been Hersh, I spent a week in Maine last summer :!: It's only a little over 300 miles from my house to Portland.

While the firey orange silhouettes have a lot of appeal, there is a myriad of detail on a good monitor in the deep blue predawn images in the rocks on which Nubble light sits as well as in the foreground. A good test of the range of one's monitor as it were.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Of course, I can barely remember where I've been let alone anyone else.
