So funny you should mention...My Dad was Air Force, called to active duty and stationed at Travis during Korea, that's why I got born out there in Fairfield. He was a navigator for supply flights that went to Toyko via Anchorage in them days. I was born 4 days after the cease-fire took effect. My birthplace is now a parking lot, now isn't that strange ! :)

=)) A Parking Lot, why am I not surprised. Fairfield is that kind of town today, I still have friends living in that area, they call Fairfield the freeway town now. I have made many flights out of Travis Air Base. One such flight was in a C-133 in 1966 heading for Vietnam, many more to Alaska and Japan and I was in the Navy. My brother was in SAC there, a B-36 bomber group. I still remember the sound and site of them flying over our house down in Vallejo Naval housing. Man them was the Good Old Days.. :-@ Us old folks say that all the time. Ring the bell Chuck. "Boats"..
