Can someone identify this lighthouse?

Anyone who knows which tower this is? I received this question from a Dutch boy: Can you please help me to identify this lighthouse? It is located somewhere nearby the Glénan Islands in France.

I could not find it in any books and even considered the possibility that it mightnot be a lighthouse at all, but a different kind of tower.

Another interesting puzzle, Frans. I have been through all the pics I have of the Finestere coastline and nothing looks like that. I doubt whether it is a lighthouse as there doesn't seem to be a lantern room. Could be a fog horn perhaps.
There is a lighthouse on Glenan Island called Penfret but it doesn't look like your photo at all.

Yeah Kevin, I doubt too if it is a lighthouse. It's definitely not the islands operational lighthouse. It's not my photo. Someone sent it to me and asked if I know it. Which I don't do. If the experts here cannot identify it I will tell him that it willmost probably not be one.

Frans, I've been through all the lights I have on file for France, Portugal, Spain and there are a couple that are close but they also have another lighthouse beside them. It could even be mistaken for the Tower of Hercules except the top bit is different.
It's quite strange to have a structure like that stuck on what appears to be a rock serving what looks like no useful purpose. Maybe the photo is a fake.

Thanks again, Kevin. I will report the guy that we conclude that it is not a lighthouse.
