Here is a photo of the North Point Lighthouse located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I went to visit it over this past summer and have to say it was sooo beautiful.

...
Hi Kristen ... Thanks so much for posting

This year I made it to North Point for the first time ever. I was there
mid October and if you were to know anything about me, you would
not be surprised to know I got lost on the way there from the pierlight ...

I had all the books, I had all the Mapquest and GOOGLE info and yet still
I had eyes glued to the shoreline ... it took a pass and a half before the
light bulb went off ...

This was one I got fortunate enough to capture ...

Hello, Kristen....I was also at North Point in August, for about the 5th or 10th time (Lost count), but the first since the makeover....They did a super job, I thought....

Barry (Grover) took a big trip up there in October, and was good enough to post his exploits here for us to follow in a thread called "Wardius, Penrose, & Pepper" over in the Great Lakes Section, if you would care to follow his recent adventures.....

I'm from Indiana, and Barry's in New Jersey.....Are you close to the Great Lakes, or just only occasionally get to visit the lights ? We would like to get more posters here to tell of their experiences, hopes and dreams....Welcome to the board.

I was up there Sunday morning hoping to get a holiday picture with the dogs and snow. No snow but I did get the holiday picture. I still have not figured out how to post pictures on this, I will one day.

Actually I am about 10-15 minutes outside the city of Milwaukee. So on one of my days off from work I made a trip there and yeah Grover I know what you mean about getting lost finding the lighthouse. Not easy at all and mapquest makes you go every which way but the right direction there LOL. Lovee your front picture of it.

Kathy if you have the picture saved on your computer just click on the filename area below the message area here then click Browse and it will take you to your pictures. I would love to do that too get a picture of the lighthouse with the snow around it. Good luck.

I must be computer illiterate. I tried a bunch of times and it saysthe file is too big. I could shrink it more, but I don't think it will look too good.

I wonder if they are going to decorate it for Valentine's Day with a big old Heart right on the tower :)
