Please note the National Lighthouse Museum has been revived and on 1-1-11 launched a nationwide campaign called the 1-1-11 challenge by 12! That is to raise one million dollars in one year to open Building #11 by 2012
We hope all lighthouses nationwide will rally to support the various fundraisers coming forward...We are very excited to be a part of Lighthousing.net and look forward to everyone visiting our site:

...
Linda ...

Best of luck with this new initiative ...

I have always thought this a spectacular location
for the project ... perhaps now, with new thought,
reorganization, and maybe a rebounding economy,
this long stalled project gets infused with an enthusiasm
and an energy which finally, finally lifts it off the ground.

I will visit the site often ... thanks!

So will it still be located at the old Staten Island Lighthouse Depot?

I would love to see it, so I really hope it develops quickly. :)
