Mukilteo Lighthouse, aerial photos

A forum to discuss lighthouses on the West Coast Region of the US
(California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii)

I just read about the upcoming retirement of this site. I have used this wonderful resource a lot, but I haven't contributed very much here.

I have aerial photos - taken by a camera flown on a kite - I think some here may find interesting. I'll be sure to post some of them before March.

I got these shots of the Mukilteo Lighthouse in Washington last summer:

Chaz ... thanks for sharing

I understand this means of "aerial photography"
is becoming popular ... You've done it well ..
"There are two pips in a beaut, four beauts in a lulu,
Eight lulus in a doozy, and sixteen doozies in a humdinger.

No one knows how many humdingers
there are in a lollapalooza."

Kite aerial photography ( KAP ) does have a world-wide participation.

Check out what others are doing with KAP on our Flickr group:

And from the KAP group tagged "lighthouse":

There are over 500 KAP lighthouse pics there!

I suspect this would take a lot of skill to keep the kites from crashing into their targets !
