More of my vacation pictures 8) . This time it's Portland Head and Portland Breakwater.
Also, of course, there was Ram Island Ledge and Spring Point Ledge. And Cape Elizabeth was kind of visible, too.

Nice photos. Did you get up to the Portland Observatory while there ? It's not a lighthouse but you get a different view of several from up there.

There's a nice Lobster Shack restaurant right below Cape Elizabeth as well.

...
Dennis ... everyone has spoken so well of the Lobster Shack ... when I was
through there this spring it was not open ...

Tiny ... the ship picture ... just great!

I didn't go in the Portland Observatory because we weren't staying in Portland (we stayed in Kennebunkport) but I would've loved to go in it.

We were lucky - all 3 times it was open and the line wasn't very long any of the times we were there.

Well you'll just have to go back and go into it on another trip.

Did you do a drive-by of the Bush Estate ?

Did you see the Wedding Cake House ?

I really don't remember seeing the Wedding Cake House...yet it's weird I would've missed it because Kennebunkport is such a small town...
