Hi all,

busy time ahead again...

booked for a whistle stop trip to Isle of Man for this years International Lighthouse/Lightship weekend. 19/20th August.

A small team of myself, my young Lady and 3 others will catch boat to see/operate (as GT4LAB/P and GW0VML/MM) Chicken Rock Light on the saturday morning, back to the main land in the afternoon and atempt to see the others in the locality( GT4LAB/P and GD0VML/P).

then back on the boat on the sunday to the Calf of Man lights, all 3 of them.

wont have much time at any of them on the saturday, especially Chicken Rock as the tides will only give us about an hour to talk to as many as possible.

photos as usual when back home.........

I know one of the Radio Hams who will be manning the station at the Point of Ayre, otherwise my only connection with the event is to fix a pulley on the tower balcony to allow them to position an aeriel.

I am quite sure if you visit you will be made most welcome

Hi,

We were planning a trip to New England many years ago, but the finances put a stop to that.
We spent it on trip "Down Under". we hope to make a permenant move there in near future.
