A number of lighthouse authors have written about the various lighthouse "critters" both beast and foul and most notibly Elinor Dewire and her latest story in the latest edition of "The Keeper's Log". It is a subject on which I have done little or no research with the one exception and that being Jack the Donkey and his contribution to the continued successful operation of a Maine island light station.

Almost "Zelig"like in his importance and appearnce in light station
history ... Dave, thanks for sharing the artucle
There are two pips in a beaut, four beauts in a lulu,
eight lulus in a doozy, and sixteen doozies in a humdinger.
No one knows how many humdingers there are in a lollapalooza.
